DESCRIPTION: In this artwork we can see a xoloitzcuintle puppy curled up inside a blanket, being lifted by two tattooed hands.
In Aztec mythology, the presence of this animal embodied the idea of a guide, because only with its help, the dead could reach the last stage of his existence in the cosmos, the Mictlan, where his spirit would finally rest.
